I have read the reviews on your website and was surprised at how luke-warm many of them were. Your honesty in including them is to be praised, but even more is your food. Quite simply, our meal at your restaurant in Milton Keynes was the best Thai food that I have ever eaten outside Thailand. I do know what I'm talking about, since I visit Thai restaurants as often as possible, my partner is Thai (and is a very good cook), and I have visited Thailand on 28 occasions, usually for 4-5 weeks, and have travelled throughout the country. The food at Thai on the River Milton Keynes was absolutely authentic and delicious. Our initial long wait (25 minutes) merely demonstrated that everything was being prepared especially for us. Wonderful! The 25% reduction put it within our price range so that we could contemplate coming often. Is it still possible to book on-line? [Dr Tim Sharrock]

I went with a good friend midweek, and was warmly welcomed in and offered a drink whilst I waited for her. The food was delicious, if a little pricey; the service was attentive without being intrusive; and the view across the river was lovely. Definitely one to go for parties, dates or meals with friends.

Thai on the river on Sundays offers a buffet for 12.95. great value as you can go up as many times as you like. right on the river too. i would recommend for a sunday lunch.

Fantastic food and great wine at Thai on the River. We went on a Tuesday night so it was a bit quiet but the service was excellent - great evening.

This was really good Thai food and not too expensive either. The situation is fabulous overlooking the river on the opposite side to Chelsea Harbour

We had a lovely romantic meal here last for our anniversary. Lovely atmosphere, good service, tastefully decorated, relaxing ambience. Really enjoyed ourselves - must go back!

Thai on the River is absolutely wonderful, the menu choice is fantastic and the staff are always ready to welcome you with a lovely smile, nothing is too much trouble, the TT offers are always worthwhile and I will look forward to my next visit!

We were highly recommended Thai on the River as the best restaurant in Battersea and weren't disappointed. The setting was lovely, the staff were all brilliant and the food spot on.

Everytime I have a special group I want to take to dinner I book a table at Thai On The River. I have not been let down yet! My group loved the food, ambience and service was attentive and with a smile. Thank you to the group at Thai On The River. You did good yet again! M.

Went to Thai on the River on Sunday for the buffet lunch option. Was ?12.95 'all you can eat'. the location is lovely on the river, the bamboo perhaps could've done with a trim so we could see more of the view. there were plenty of options of food and the dessert wasnt limited. the wine menu was more extensive than i thought it woudl be. i'll definitely be back.

We frequent Thai on the River all the time. It's a local favourite as there is nearly always a good offer otherwise I think it would be too expensive for what it is. Wine selection lacks slightly and on the wrong night so might the ambiance but a safe bet for decent thai food.

Nice venue and nice food. The Tom Yum was great and beef was excellent. Service was a bit shaky, but we wouldn't hesitate to go back.

Fourth time coming here, got worse each time. The food was really average to be honest, fish overcooked, curry despite being 2 chilli not hot at all, and beef overdone. Service was okay, polite but not really listening to us. They served both our deserts wrong, and when we politely enquired why the different they tried to justify it somehow? Not going again for a while. Frustrating because we have really enjoyed our meals here before.

I visited Thai on the River in Battersea one evening. Our starters were lovely, although they did get our order wrong. Unfortunately the mussels in the seafood stirfry we ordered were served cold, after querying this with the waitress she took it away and 2 mins later replaced it still as cold as before and with no explanation. I had to speak to the mangeress to find out that this is what happens when you steam cook mussels. Not so sure I agreed. Nice place, but probably won't return.
