Norwich Council has awarded Thai on the River Norwich 4 stars for Safer food awards.
The star ratings given to each of the premises are a representation of nationally recognised Environmental Health inspection criteria. As a guide, ‘No stars awarded’ means the premises has generally failed to satisfy the law in respect of one or more of the following areas a) food hygiene b) structure and cleanliness c) confidence in management. Environmental Health Officers may also be considering formal action. Food businesses with one or two stars demonstrates a very basic compliance with the law and may have many minor problems. Premises with three stars are broadly compliant whereas those with four or five stars are meeting or exceeding the industry standard.
